Revising an IQCP
Product specifications evolve and therefore the Inspection Quality Control Plans to support them will need to change. IQCPs in Current and Expired statuses can be revised by users with the IQCP_VIEW, IQCP_CREATE and IQCP_EDIT rights. Once the new IQCP is revised, it changes to Inworks status and the previous version of the IQCP changes to Expired. If approval is required, then the previous version of the IQCP becomes Expired once the new revision of the IQCP is approved. If approval is not required, then the previous version of the IQCP becomes Expired once the new revision is submitted. The IQCP number stays the same and a revision indicator is appended to the end. This indicator is defined by the Revision Style field in the IQCP Numbering Scheme in Setup. The following information is copied to the new revision:
- IQCP Information with New Revision (based on Revision Style in numbering scheme)
- Master Plan
- Additional Plan
- Document
- Policy
- IQCP Team
- Attachments
